BARB’s (VEGAN) CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CUP SMOOTHIE

This is a “Barbie” favorite!  It brings me back to my childhood when I use to “gobble up” Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups by the bag at Halloween! But this peanut butter cup “delight” is much healthier!

  • ¼ cup Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
  • Yes, it’s vegan, but its NOT sugar-free so you don’t need to add sweetener to this smoothie
  • ¼ cup peanut butter (no-sugar added)
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 cup Coconut Bliss coconut ice cream, “Vanilla Island” flavor
  • 1 cup cold almond, soy, rice, or coconut milk
  • ½ cup crushed ice

Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender (Vitamix) and blend for 15 – 25 seconds, or until creamy. You can adjust flavorings to taste, e.g. add more/less chocolate, PB, salt, etc.

SPICY (VEGAN) CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE

If the mood is right, add some spice to your life and try this delectable smoothie; it’s sure to get your juices flowing!

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup Coconut Bliss coconut ice cream, “Vanilla Island” flavor
  • 1 banana
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
  • 2 teaspoons Agave
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender (Vitamix) and blend for 15 – 25 seconds, or until creamy.
And don’t forget to double the ingredients if you plan to share this spicy concoction with your significant other!
